The roots of Kriya Yoga go back thousands of years when the first Kriya Yogis, also known as the first masters of yoga who had fully realized the human potential, or the Siddhas, attained profound knowledge about the nature of humans and the universe.
Through Kriya Yoga, one can discover one’s true nature – timeless, unchanging peace and contentment and thus attain self-realization. It is a means to go deeply into the state of inner peace by freeing one’s consciousness from various disturbances and restlessness, which also helps to develop one’s concentration, determination and clarity. When we understand who we are in essence and learn to direct our consciousness or focus through Kriya Yoga, completely new ways of experiencing existence emerge.
