Temple visiting and ceremonies

Temple Visiting

The temple area is open all day, and the Shiva and Shakti temples are open daily from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

When visiting the temple, please maintain a calm atmosphere and follow the guidelines below.

Before entering the temple area, please remove your shoes and leave them at the entrance. You are welcome to photograph the general views of the temple, but we kindly ask that you do not photograph or film the sacred statues (murtis) to avoid disturbing their energy.

All ceremonies and prayers (pujas) in the temple are conducted by specially trained pujaris. We ask visitors to respect this tradition and not enter the inner sanctum of the Shiva and Shakti temples.

In Sanatan Dharma, pujas are acts of worship to express reverence to the divine, strengthen spiritual connections, and seek blessings and guidance. The benefits of pujas include spiritual growth, finding inner peace, resolving problems, bringing prosperity and happiness, and fostering positive relationships within the family and community.

Worship Services

If you wish to have a personal worship service, you will find the various options and descriptions of the ceremonies below.

Archana Puja

Archana Puja is a ceremony where the pujari offers prayers on behalf of a specific person or their loved ones. The pujari chants the names along with prayers and mantras, using flowers, fruits, incense, and other offerings. This beautiful ceremony helps remove obstacles, brings blessings, and creates peace and harmony in one’s life.

  • If you wish to have the puja on specific days or occasions such as birthdays, important events, or days related to different deities, please email your request to puja@lilleoru.ee

Please bring the Archana offerings (fruits, flowers, incense, coconut) and give them to the pujari on site. You can also purchase the offerings on-site for 7 euros per set. For Shiva and Shakti puja, two sets are needed.

The suggested donation for Archana Puja is 21 euros. Donations can be made online here or at the temple on site.

Milk Abisheka

Milk abisheka is a ritual bathing of the sacred statue (murti) with various offerings such as milk, water, rosewater, sandalwood water, honey, and ghee. This ceremony creates positive effects for the individual and their loved ones, purifying the mind and body, removing negativity, and promoting spiritual growth. The pujari performs the abisheka on behalf of the individual along with a personal archana puja.

Milk abisheka ceremonies:

  • Every morning when the temple is opened
  • If you wish to have a personal abisheka on a specific day, please email your request to puja@lilleoru.ee

This ceremony promotes spiritual growth, enhances health and overall well-being, and provides relief from the influences of various planets, especially Saturn. Everyone is welcome to attend.
